The Garden Venue serves as a superb wedding ceremony and reception location, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside. Offering freedom of choice with multiple reception and ceremony rooms and spaces we offer boutique wedding services and packages. We take pleasure in presenting our distinctive wedding solutions to you to fullfil your unique requirements. Our team of wedding planners, can assist you in planning your perfect magical day. Your wedding is important to us, no matter how big or how small. We appreciate the importance of your special day and would like to make it as memorable as possible for you.

The charmingly landscaped gardens with romantic interludes offer perfect outdoor wedding ceremony venues that are set amongst magical surroundings offering the ideal complement to the indoor reception banqueting venues that lead out to the surrounding cascading ponds and flawlessly manicured lawns. Whether your ceremony is on a raised pavilion over cascades, or a secluded wedding ceremony, or is on rolling lawns below the tall trees of the outdoors or an alfresco picnic reception or garden luncheon, or a romantic sit-down indoor reception, The Garden Venue is certainly the perfect backdrop to host your wedding.


Wedding, Receptions and Ceremonies can be held in multiple spaces

African Open-Air Arena – Our African Open-Air Arena is a fabulous garden space, ideal for those who have dreamt of a garden wedding. This sumptuous event space with sprawling lawns can host large weddings of up to 600 guests, in either a marquee tent or a Bedouin tent. The garden arena is uniquely private, with an outdoor stage for your wedding ceremony and is framed on all sides by landscaped gardens on raised berms.

Forest Banquet Pavilion – Our Forest Banquet Pavilion tells a 3-part wedding day storyline, where 3 unique spaces come together for the ceremony, then the pre-ceremony drinks with canapes and finally followed by the grand reception banquet. This dramatic space nestled below towering trees, with expansive rolling lawns, lends itself perfectly to the chemistry required for your magical wedding day. Whilst ceremonies can be held amongst the tall trees of the Forest Chapel, pre-reception drinks and canapes can be enjoyed on the piazza and sumptuous wedding banquets can be hosted inside the Forest Banquet Pavilion with its dramatic high thatch roof. This magnificent venue can cater for up to 400 guests banquet style.

Lawn Terrace – The Lawn Terrace is the most ideal space for a garden wedding. Rolling lawns & immaculate landscaped gardens defines this space. It can cater for up to 200 guests. We recommend that weddings on the Lawn Terrace be held in a tented marqee or stretch Bedouin tent. Weddings hosted on the Lawn Terrace also enjoy the exclusive use of Annie’s Corner which is a contemporary out-door boma & the Olive Tree Hide. The Olive Tree Hide is a thatch room at the far end of the Lawn Terrace, where pre-reception drinks & canapes can be hosted, during the cocktail hour, while photos are being taken.

Marquee – For those preferring the use of a garden Marquee Tent for a magical outdoor affair, a paved garden space surrounded by large trees and landscaped gardens is available. The Marquee space is ideal for tented wedding functions, catering for up to 200 guests banquet style.

Elephant Hall – The Elephant Hall, delighting in a neutral colour palette for any wedding style, is a thatch hall with expansive deck patios enjoying magnificent views for receptions. It can cater for up to 120 guests under roof banquet style. Seating capacity can be increased to 150 by adding tables on the deck patio. The Koi Pond Pavilion is adjacent to the Elephant Hall and is an exquisite outdoor space with decking pavilions cantilevering over Koi ponds and is ideal for wedding ceremonies. With a capacity of 150, it is the ultimate space for a charismatic outdoor wedding ceremony and many have hosted their receptions here too. Memorable sunsets offer the perfect opportunity for pre-drinks and canapes to be enjoyed.

Olive Tree Hide – The Olive Tree Hide is an outdoor thatch venue in an enviable position nestled under a grand old indigenous Olive Tree. It can cater up to 60 guests under roof, banquet style. This exceptional space, ideal for smaller weddings, also offers a circular patio with wrap around exterior seating on the patio. It’s an intimate area, which can expand its capacity to 100. The Lawn Terrace, which is adjacent to the Olive Tree Hide, with pristine rolling lawns, is an ideal garden location to hold your wedding ceremony, presenting a magical outdoor wedding ceremony and reception area.

The Upper Room – For small weddings, the Upper Room is ideal, as an indoor chapel or as a banquet room, indulging in privacy & enjoying magnificent views over the koi ponds & landscaped gardens. This private room with its high-pitched thatch roof can cater for up to 50 guests.

FREE Wedding Venue Hire

At the Garden Venue, we are pleased to advise that we do not charge venue hire. (T&Cs apply) We do however require that you spend a minimum amount with us on your catering, décor, accommodation, bar and DJ. This is a great advantage for our bridal couple, as your wedding budget is then allocated to where it matters. This minimum spend value varies depending on the day you choose to marry as well as the season. Our minimum spend requirement is lower on week days than on Saturdays and Sundays and lower in winter too. Our Wedding Coordinators can advise you in this regard.t the Garden Venue, we charge a per person Venue Hire Fee, with minimum guest quantities applying, depending on your day, time and selected venue. Please request our Venue Hire Rate Card, which also demonstrates that Venue Hire Rates are lower on Sundays and even lower in the week. Children under 10 enjoy a 40% discount on the Menu Costs only, excluding Kiddies Menu. Children under 3 are free regarding catering and venue hire charges, receiving no place setting or starter.


Wedding Catering

Our in-house chef, has created multiple exceptional menus especially designed to tantalise your taste buds. Most weddings prefer buffet menus, but plated courses & butler service can be requested. Our delectable canapes & refreshing arrival drinks are still the best way to start your special day. The most popular wedding menu options are the Ruby, Emerald & Diamond Buffets, which were especially designed with wedding flavours in mind. However, we can also design bespoke menus considering any unique culinary requirements that you may have in mind. Food tastings can be enjoyed by prior arrangement & we highly recommend that couples meet with our Head Chef to discuss their menu choices.

Our experienced wedding coordinators can assist with your décor choices. Décor falls into two categories. There are Standard Décor items included for all events and then there are Themed Décor Packages designed as per the bridal couples specifications.
