How many venues are available, and what makes each one different?
You can choose between 12 venues, each with unique features that can be tailored to suit your event’s purpose. For instance, you can almost double the number of guests by combining indoor areas with marquees in dedicated garden spaces.
There are several configuration options, including theatre-style, u-shape, and classroom-style. You can have your choice of settings from elegant banquet halls to thatched and rustic rooms for more intimate gatherings. Forest pavilions, garden courtyards, and decked pavilions with koi ponds provide a peaceful experience. You can even have a bar and buffet-style catering.
Can I book more than one venue for a single event?
Absolutely! In fact, booking multiple interconnected venues for a single event is quite common. One popular example is weddings. Couples might book a cocktail bar to welcome guests, a garden for the ceremony, a hall for the reception – and our luxury hotel for their wedding night.
Your event coordinator works with you to develop the ideal layout, ensuring that there is a natural flow between venues, clearly directing guests along the path. For example, they might string fairy lights along the way.
What is included when I book a venue at The Garden Venue?
This depends on the package you choose and how much customisation you require. There are, however, standard packages that contain similar facilities and amenities. It breaks down like this:
- Primary services and facilities: Venue hire, chairs, tables, and set up and breakdown, as well as basic decor and access to gardens and courtyards.
- Equipment: AV equipment, including projectors and sound systems.
Then there are the optional add-ons:
- Full-service catering (all dietary requirements)
- Custom styling and lighting
- Ceremony setups
- Dedicated event coordinators (planning and on-the-day support)
Finally, there is our luxury hotel with 46 suites.
Are site visits available before booking?
Yes, in fact, we encourage you to visit our venue for a guided tour of the various event spaces available. This way you can choose the venue that perfectly suits your event. Your guided visit includes a full tour of all the indoor options and the gardens and decks. You’ll be able to ask your guide all the important questions about capacity, event layout (theatre-style and customisable configurations) and style (decor, themes, and colours).
